ANGEL FROM MONTGOMERY: Using E, A, D & B7 to Play a True American Classic

Angel From Montgomery is a classic American Folk tune by the late John Prine. This song is great way to practice our CAGED chords, hence I've included it my CAGED Chord Playlist. In this video we use Bonnie Raitt's recording of the song from her 1974 album "Streetlights." This is the most famous of all the recordings of the song, and tends to be the go to version for cover bands and singer/songwriters. The song uses 4 chords: A, E, D and B7. It can also be played with a capo on the 2nd fret using the chords: G, D, C and A7. This tune is a true classic and I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I do!
