Music For the Elctro-Eclectic

Pedro-Album-Cover.jpg

The idea for Pedrodomus originates in the bowels of Pete’s Macdougal Street apartment in Greenwich Village circa 2004. Enrolled at NYU while navigating the beginning of adulthood, a cast of characters would descend upon the cozy railroad flat for shenanigans and enlightenment. Late nights of banter, jamming and sharing music at obnoxious volumes, and pontificating about the nature of the universe gave rise to this nickname. Pete has since worn the name with pride that his friends bestowed upon him. Pedrodomus has become more than a pseudonym; a collective of Pete’s most beloved collaborators: Nate Crepeault, Christopher Botta, Brandon Terzakis, Chris Marrone, Maria Battinelli, Bryan Dmuchowski and Aaron Henry to name a few. With their help Pete seeks to make music that is only beholden to the truths of our own consciousness. Utilizing all his skills as a producer, composer and performer Pete combines the Rock and Roll spirit with the spirit of the blues amidst an electronic backdrop. No two Pedrodomus albums are the same as the music takes on the transient nature of Pete’s thoughts, moods and goals. .
